Terms of Service

These terms explain how Cassioni works and what we each agree to. We have written them in plain language so they are easy to read. By placing an order or using Cassioni, you accept the terms set out below.

1. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled under those laws.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase from Cassioni. By placing an order, you confirm that you are.

3. Acceptable content

Cassioni is for honest, personal messages. You may not upload or send content that is illegal, that harasses or threatens another person, that records someone without their consent, or that involves anyone under the age of 18. Cassioni may remove content or terminate accounts that break this rule.

4. Your content and licence

The video, audio, and written content you create stays yours. You own it. To provide the service, you grant Cassioni a limited licence to store and display that content solely to do its job — printing your card, hosting your message, playing it back, showing the recipient page, and keeping it in the vault. Cassioni does not sell your content and does not use it for anything beyond providing the service to you.

5. Reaction capture

Capturing a recipient's reaction to your message requires the recipient's explicit opt-in at the time they watch. If they decline, no reaction is recorded. Cassioni is not responsible for any misrepresentation by a sender about how a reaction will be used.

6. QR codes and upload timing

The QR code printed on a card is permanent from the moment your order is confirmed. Adding your message in good time is your responsibility as the buyer. A card can ship before a message has been added, so we encourage you to record yours early. Your message can still be added after the card is on its way.

7. Memory Packs

A Memory Pack is a set of prepaid cards — memories — tied to your email. The memories in a pack never expire and are yours to use whenever the moment is right. If you voluntarily close your account, any unused memories are non-refundable.

8. Vault subscription

A paid vault subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. After cancellation, your files are retained in cold storage and the links to them may go dark, but the files are never deleted. See our Privacy Policy for how retention works.

9. Love It Guarantee

If your recipient does not love their Cassioni experience, we will refund the card price — currently $19.99 — within 30 days of delivery. Email hello@cassioni.com. You do not need a receipt and you do not need to prove anything.

10. Order consent logging

When you place an order, you accept these terms. We record the time of your acceptance and the terms version shown above alongside your order, so there is a clear record of what you agreed to.

11. Account termination

Cassioni may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms. Where we can, we will tell you why.

12. Indemnity

You agree to cover Cassioni for legal claims, losses, and costs that arise from the content you create or send through the service.

13. Privacy

How we collect, use, and protect your information is described in our Privacy Policy. Please read it together with these terms.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time. The current effective version is shown at the top of this page. If you have a question about any of this, write to us at hello@cassioni.com.
